Alpen Raises Series B for Building Efficiency
Alpen raised an initial $6M toward a targeted $10M Series B for high-performance building products.

The cheapest clean energy is often the energy a building no longer wastes.
What happened
Alpen High Performance Products announced the initial $6 million closing of a targeted $10 million Series B round. The company develops high-performance building products, including efficiency-focused building-envelope solutions.
The round is smaller and not yet fully closed, so it is a more modest signal than the larger climate-tech financings in the same period.
Why it matters
Buildings consume huge amounts of energy, and windows, insulation and building envelopes play a major role in heating and cooling demand. Better building products can reduce energy load before customers need to add more generation, storage or HVAC capacity.
Alpen is in the less glamorous part of climate tech: materials and efficiency. But that market matters because it can improve buildings already in use, not just future green construction.
The bigger picture
Climate tech is not only batteries, fusion and carbon removal. The quieter efficiency layer — windows, insulation, retrofits and building controls — can reduce demand at the source. That makes companies like Alpen part of the practical infrastructure side of decarbonisation.
