London-based AI Score raised a $5.4M seed round to build enterprise governance tooling for generative and agentic AI. The platform helps organisations gain visibility into AI usage, set controls, guide employees and reduce risks around unsafe or unmanaged deployment.
The company is targeting the operational layer between AI adoption and compliance: who is using AI, what systems are connected, what data is exposed and what guardrails are in place.
Why it matters
Many companies are no longer asking whether employees are using AI. They are asking how to manage that usage without blocking productivity.
Agentic systems make this harder because they can call tools, access data and perform multi-step tasks. That creates risks around shadow AI, data leakage, prompt injection, model misuse and unclear accountability.
The bigger picture
