Agility’s proposed $465 million SPAC for humanoid robot expansion
Expected gross capital combines trust cash, a Foxconn-led private investment and $100 million already received, ahead of the proposed closing.

Agility Robotics is approaching a public listing with a more specific capital picture. Approximately $465 million in gross capital was expected from its proposed combination with Churchill Capital Corp XI and related financings.
What happened
The 30 October update followed the SPAC’s shareholder redemption deadline. The expected total comprised about $164 million in trust cash, a $201 million private investment led by Foxconn, and $100 million of equity already received.
At that date, the combination still required shareholder approval and other closing conditions. Closing was expected on 4 November, followed by Nasdaq trading under AGLT on 5 November.
Agility develops Digit humanoid robots for physically demanding industrial work. It had expanded its GXO relationship to two additional facilities and agreed an AGCO manufacturing pilot expected in 2027.
Why it matters
The breakdown shows how much anticipated capital comes from new commitments and how much had already arrived. Transaction expenses would also reduce the usable proceeds.
Commercial deployments matter because they test whether humanoid robots can deliver reliable work within a customer’s operations.
The bigger picture
As of 30 October, this remained a proposed transaction. The operational test beyond listing is converting deployments and paid programmes into repeatable demand, while funding production and support.
