Aampere raises €4.2M for used-EV resale
Aampere has raised €4.2M to build cross-border infrastructure for Europe’s fragmented used-electric-vehicle market.

Europe’s electric-vehicle transition will depend not only on new-car sales but also on whether used EVs can be priced, trusted and moved efficiently across borders.
What happened
Munich-based Aampere raised €4.2M, led by Trind Ventures with participation from Vend Marketplaces and G-FUND.
The company operates a digital platform that sells used electric vehicles to dealers across Europe. It combines dealer auctions, automated pricing, digital condition checks, payment and vehicle logistics.
Aampere says it sells several thousand EVs annually and quadrupled revenue over the previous year. Those figures are company-reported.
Why it matters
Used EVs are harder to trade than conventional vehicles because battery condition, charging performance, local incentives and residual values vary significantly.
Dealers need confidence that they can price the asset and resell it quickly. Consumers need confidence that the battery and vehicle condition are understood. Aampere is trying to reduce that information and logistics friction by creating a cross-border resale layer.
The bigger picture
The secondary market is a critical piece of EV adoption. Strong used-car liquidity can improve lease economics, support residual values and make electric vehicles accessible to more buyers.
The opportunity extends beyond marketplaces. Battery-health diagnostics, financing, insurance and warranty products could all become part of the infrastructure surrounding used EVs as the first large generation of vehicles enters the resale cycle.
