50skills Raises $6M for AI HR Workflows
50skills has raised $6M to scale an AI workflow platform that turns natural-language HR instructions into operational processes.

50skills is bringing agentic automation into HR by turning natural-language instructions into operational workflows.
What happened
The Icelandic startup raised $6M in funding, co-led by Frumtak Ventures, Swiss Post Ventures, Avant and DRD Investments.
Its platform allows companies to describe people and HR processes in natural language, then combines deterministic workflows with AI agents to automate parts of those processes. Human approval can remain in the loop for decisions that require judgement.
Why it matters
HR functions still involve large amounts of repetitive coordination across onboarding, employee requests, documentation and internal systems. Traditional HR software manages records, but agentic tools are beginning to automate the work between those systems.
That makes the category closer to workflow infrastructure than a conventional HR dashboard.
The bigger picture
Enterprise AI is moving from assistants toward process execution. The companies that win may be those that combine model flexibility with the reliability and auditability required for real operational workflows. HR is one of many back-office functions where that shift is beginning to emerge.
